Scalp Care Routine Card
After a close buzz, the scalp behaves like newly exposed skin. Keep the routine simple: protect, cleanse, moisturize, and watch for warning signs.
Morning: protect exposed scalp.
Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen when outdoors, cover the crown and hairline, and
use a hat for long exposure. Follow the product label for reapplication.
After sweating: rinse or cleanse gently.
Sweat, sunscreen, hats, and headphones can create friction. Do not scrub aggressively.
Evening: check and simplify.
Look for redness, bumps, tender spots, flakes, or dryness. Use a light moisturizer if the
scalp feels tight.
Before the next cut: clean the clipper.
Brush hair from the blade area, oil the blade if the manual calls for it, and do not run a
hot or pulling blade over irritated skin.
Medical pause.
Talk to a licensed medical professional for severe irritation, pain, bleeding, infection
signs, sudden hair loss, blistering sunburn, or persistent scalp problems.
